2012 Manager of the Year Recipient
Congratulations 2012 Manager of The Year Stephanie Tharpe
Stephanie has been a part of the storage industry for over six years and has been with A+ Storage since March 2011 when they acquired the Mt. Juliet location. The revenue for this property has literally doubled since she came on board as manager. This is due in part by her effective management of the delinquencies. She has also be instrumental in branding the company by working with a local vendor to create moving kits, grocery totes, brochures and an A+ tent to use for local events. Much of her success is based on the relationship she has with her customers and in her community. In addition to holding tenant appreciation events at her facility, she reaches out to local charitable organizations and offers her support. Operation Troop Aid, Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter and Dell Webb of Lake Providence (an over 55 residential community) have recently benefited from her dedication to the community. She works with several local apartment complexes, sponsors Fall Festivals, is involved with Halloween in the Park and is an active member of The Chamber of Commerce.
Stephanie also serves as a Moderator for Self Storage Talk, has been a published blogger for Inside Self Storage and has written articles for the TNSSA newsletter.
Stephanie serves as an example that there is more to managing a facility than simply processing payments, renting units and maintaining the property. Positive, active involvement in your community goes a long way in the road to success for your business!
