The 2024 TNSSA Manager of the Year Award goes to a manager that we have all known and adored for many years. At last count, he has registered as an attendee for 23 of our events. That’s a pretty loyal following for sure!
In speaking to the company representative that nominated him, I was told that there is no better human being. He is a joy to work for and with, always looking for innovative ways to lead the company in growth.
His creativity and determination to think outside the box has kept their four facilities operating at top notch. He does not shy away from changes, even those that bring lots of work to implement. After recently leading the changeover of their property management system after covid, he most recently implemented the addition of sms texting for their customers. Even when he’s not working, he always seems to still be working on the next new thing!
He actually manages, or oversees the management, of 4 locations in Tennessee. His particular facility of 708 units boasts an occupancy rate of 90% while maintaining a delinquency rate well under 1%.
The commitment to his job is unparalleled with a whopping 26 years in the industry, all with the same operator. This manager exemplifies what it means to be Manager of the Year and we are proud to recognize his achievements, hard work and dedication today.
