Lonnie Bickford, StorageAuctions.com
Lonnie Bickford has been the owner/developer of five Appletree Storage facilities in the Greater Baton Rouge area. As a Board Member of the Self Storage Association of Louisiana, Lonnie worked closely with representatives from the National SSA in passing multiple changes to the Louisiana Lien law’s. For the last 15 years he has strived to operate his business with the best practices and processes to streamline daily operations and maximize revenue. His research and experience taught him that by scheduling auctions more frequently, delinquencies went down and collections went up. As the founder of StorageAuctions.com, Lonnie is working with Owners and Management teams to maximize revenue by using the leverage of online auctions to drive collections to new heights.
Jim Mooney, Jr., Devon Self Storage Holdings (US) LLC
Mr. Mooney joined Devon in April 2001 and has held a number of different positions including; Property Manager and General Manager of a self storage facility, Regional Manager over a number of stores, and most recently as Director of Operations. As Director of Operations, Jim is instrumental in the implementation and growth of Devon’s online presence, vendor relationships, and the takeover and setup of newly acquired sites. In December 2016, Jim was promoted to Vice President – Operations and has expanded his responsibilities to include a greater public presence. He writes articles for various trade publications and speaks at many industry meetings and conferences. Jim is currently a member of the MDSSA board of directors.
Oliva Austin, SiteLink
Olivia is a Sales Executive with SiteLink software, covering the southeast region of the United States. She joined the SiteLink Sales Team in 2013, bringing her diverse technology implementation skills from the education, government, commercial and healthcare vertical markets. Olivia sees the big picture and is proficient in defining workflow while engaging all stakeholders to deliver the best solution for the customer. She understands the true value of relationship building, which goes beyond the sale, making her a valuable resource and partner for any self-storage business owner. Olivia has spoken at the Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina and Florida Self Storage Association trade shows.
Grace Anderson, Absolute Storage Management
New Orleans-born and Memphis-bred, Grace is full of life and thrives on experiences. Grace is a University of Memphis graduate that has over 5 years of self-storage experience paired with previous 5 years’ experience in customer service industries. Grace’s responsibilities include developing marketing strategies for properties managed by ASM including their online presence along with ASM’s corporate marketing strategy and select vendor relationships management.
Right now, Grace fills up her weeks with volunteering and weekends experiencing new adventures.
